Reverie is Feature Complete

After months of development, Reverie now has every core feature needed for independent musicians to create professional music videos without a crew or budget.

We Built What We Set Out to Build

Reverie is feature complete. I want to say that plainly, because it's a milestone I honestly wasn't sure I'd reach when I started this journey.

When I began building Reverie, I had a simple motivation: I wanted to make a music video I couldn't afford to make. Not a lyric video. Not a static image. A real, produced music video. Today, that's possible — and it's possible for anyone with a song and an idea.

The Complete Toolkit

The platform now includes everything needed for end-to-end music video production:

  • Storyboarding — plan your visual narrative shot by shot
  • Scene Planning — organize and structure your story
  • Character Continuity — maintain consistency across scenes
  • Timeline Editing — sync vision with sound
  • Audio Tracks — layer and mix your soundtrack
  • Enhancement Suite — including Restyle, Lip Sync, and Sound Effects

Each feature was built with a specific purpose: to remove the barriers between independent musicians and professional-quality video production.

Proof of Concept

This screenshot is from a real music video I made for my own band using Reverie. That's the Enhance Clip dialog running on actual footage of me performing — Restyle, Lip Sync, and Sound Effects all processing in real time.

I didn't hire a crew. I didn't book studio time. I used the tool I built, and it worked.

What "Feature Complete" Really Means

Feature complete doesn't mean we're done working. It means the core vision — a production platform where an independent musician can take a song from concept to finished film without external resources — actually exists and actually works.

The infrastructure is built. The pipeline is solid. Now the focus shifts to depth: better tutorials, smoother onboarding, making sure every feature is discoverable and intuitive for creators who've never touched video software before.

This is where the tool becomes truly usable at scale.

What's Next

From here, we're doubling down on education and user experience. That means:

  • Comprehensive tutorials for every feature
  • Guided onboarding to reduce the learning curve
  • In-app discovery so no feature gets buried
  • Community feedback to drive refinement

The heavy lifting is done. Now comes the polish.
