Kubrick is a chat assistant that lives right inside your project. You tell it what you want, in plain language, and it does it. Building scenes, adding and editing clips, generating video, exporting your film. Direct your film by talking to it

Here's what a session with Kubrick looks like:

• "Look at my storyboard and tell me what to cut." Kubrick reads the whole project, every scene and clip, and gives you notes: which shot is loose, what to tighten, what's missing.
• "OK, do it." It restructures the scene for you. It moves clips, trims them and adds the follow-up shots it suggested.
• "Add a shot where the ship blasts off into space." It writes the clip, puts it in the right scene and links it to the shot before it for visual continuity.
• "Generate it." Kubrick tells you what the render will cost in credits before it spends anything, then generates the clip straight into your timeline.
• "Export the film." Done.

Every change shows up in your project as it happens. You can step in, tweak something by hand, and pick the conversation back up where you left off.

Why we built it

The hard part of AI filmmaking stopped being the models a while ago. The hard part is the hundred small decisions between an idea and a finished cut: which shot goes where, what to regenerate, what to throw away, how to keep the story moving.

Reverie already gives you a tool for every one of those decisions. Kubrick gives you a collaborator for them. It's someone to ask "what should I do next?" who has actually looked at your project, and who can go and do it.

It doesn't replace your taste. It's the crew that carries it out.

About the name

Yes, Kubrick is a nod to one of the greatest directors who ever lived. To be clear, though, our Kubrick has no connection to Stanley Kubrick, his estate or his films. We just liked the name for a creative director.

And there's one big difference. The original was famously demanding: he once shot a single scene 127 times. Our Kubrick is the opposite. It's patient, never precious, and happy to do take 128 if you ask.
