Enhance Clip: Lip-Sync, Sound Effects & Video-to-Video

Reverie now ships a complete audio-visual enhancement suite — lip-sync, sound effects, and video-to-video transformation — built directly into the filmmaking workflow. No other platform has done this.

This week Reverie ships something no other AI filmmaking platform has delivered: a unified Enhance Clip dialog that brings lip-sync, sound design, and video transformation directly into your production workflow.

Most AI video tools are generation tools. They give you a clip and leave you to figure out the rest. Reverie has always been different — and this update makes that difference impossible to ignore.

Enhance Clip

The new Enhance Clip dialog is available on any clip, inside your existing project. No exports, no round-trips, no separate apps.

Lip-Sync — Upload a dialogue audio track and sync it to video automatically via sync.so. What makes this genuinely powerful for music video work: Reverie extracts the audio from the exact timeline segment your clip occupies, so the sync is frame-accurate relative to your film's timeline — not just the raw track.

Sound Effects — Add generated sound effects to any clip via MMAudio. The FX are contextual and integrated — no leaving the app, no manual export/import cycle.

Video-to-Video — Transform, restyle, or recontextualise existing footage via Runway Gen4 Aleph. Includes reference image support: insert characters into existing video while maintaining visual continuity across your project.

New Clip Types

Also shipping this week: five new clip types in the clip creation workflow.

  • Continuation Clip — picks up from the last frame of the previous shot, maintaining visual momentum
  • Hard Cut — starts fresh from any reference image, new scene, new energy
  • Character Intro — locks character visual identity from first appearance
  • Intercut — cuts between parallel story threads
  • Extend Clip — adds duration to any generated shot without regenerating

What's Next

The Reverie feature set is now approaching completion. The next focus: documentation, tutorials, and ensuring every user has awareness and access to everything that has been built. There is more here than most people realise — and that changes now.
