The editing model is the hard part

Something I've learned building Reverie Movies: the hardest part of making an AI filmmaking tool isn't the AI.

It's the editing model.

Most people think the bottleneck in creative AI tools is generation quality. And yes, that matters. But what actually breaks the creative flow is what happens after the clip is generated.

You have a 4-second clip. Now what?

Where does it go in your story? How does it connect to the next scene? What if you want to reorder things? What if the audio doesn't line up?

I spent months on this before I touched generation. The result:
